In 2017, I was on the speaking circuit for the FIRE (financial independence retire early) vast community of super smart, spreadsheet literate people working towards early retirement. Few understood the inner dimensions of the path they were on, and the obstacles/ opportunities ahead. I came to loosely use the framework of the Hero’s Journey to talk about the Life part of Your Money or Your Life – what it takes to really craft a life you love… in simple terms. I’m grateful the crew filmed it and then shared it today as it truly is a good rendition of the message I’ve carried for so long: there is an inner dimension to FI, that has nothing to do with money.
